Its not how you look on the outside, its how you are on the inside that matters.
Or so goes the theory.

Not according to 6 year olds.

I was a bad bad bad bad daddy.
I was using clippers on Ryan's hair, like I always do to trim it.
I swooshed thru the hair and WOOOOSH..
There is a giant slash thru his hair where i can see the scalp!!!!


WOAH...SHOCK...

Turns out that i forgot to put the #6 clipper on
Instead it was at the #0 which means, "Make me bald"
So i had to do what i had to do.
I had to take it all off. Ryan is now bald.
Or at least he looks like Lt.Manny ;-)

I showed him in the mirror and he was very nonchalant about it. Maybe he's used to bad haircuts.
Rohan didn't care either.
But Rhea, she was very very upset.

She was upset ,and she was feeeling very very bad for Ryan.

So Fiona explained to her "look Rhea, its not about how you look on the outside its about how you feel on the inside, and as long as you are happy on the inside, its all that matters"
"Daddy made a mistake with Ryan;s hair , and he's sorry but Ryan is happy on the inside"

"I don't like my haircuts sometimes but i'm happy on the inside too, and that;s all that matters"

Rhea; "But mommy i'm not happy on the inside"
Fiona: Why not Rhea?
Rhea: I don't like my hair. I want to be blonde.

Silence.




Fiona "Well you cant always be the color you like, i like gold but that doesn't mean my hair and skin is gold. So you can be happy by buying things that are gold, so i buy gold earrings . Maybe when we go to the store next time you can buy a blonde doll."
